Agregátor recenzí, server Metacritic, zveřejnil nejlepší hry desetiletí podle recenzí a hráčů. Navazuje tak na seznam nejlépe hodnoceních her roku 2019, kde z pohledu odborných recenzí vyhrál remake hororu Resident Evil 2 před Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers, Monster Hunter: World – Iceborne, Disco Elysium a F1 2019.

Než se podíváme na hry desetiletí, tak si ještě povíme o titulech z roku 2019, které byly u uživatelů Metacriticu nejlépe hodnoceny. První místo s 2088 body získal Resident Evil 2, na kterého zhruba 200 bodů ztrácí Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
