Microsoft Flight Simulator vylepšil v pořadí desátý World Update, zaměřil se na Spojené státy americké. Rozsáhlé území studio Asobo vylepšovalo už na konci roku 2020, kdy se pochlubilo mnoha geologickými a člověkem vytvořenými památkami Spojených států. Teď se vývojáři do USA vrátili.

Desátý World Update přináší nové satelitní a letecké snímky ve vysokém rozlišení a čtyři nová ručně vytvořená letiště: Catalina (KAVX), Valdez Airport (PAVD), Lake Taho (KTVL) a Block Island Airport (KBID) - a fotogrammetrii Albany, Arlington, Boise, Charleston (Západní Virginie), Disney - Kissamme - Windermere, Eugene, Key Largo, Lansing, Lynchburg, Olympia, San Diego a Seattle.

Dále si můžete užít tři nové lety (Appalačské pohoří, Kalifornie), zaletět se podívat na Grand Canyon, stejně tak si prohlédnout 87 nových ručně vytvořených bodů zájmu. Jejich seznam níže.

Také vyšel pátý díl placené série dodatečného balíčku Local Legends, přináší Beechcraft Model 18, dvoumotorový užitkový letoun představený Beech Aircraft Corporation v roce 1937.
