Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 můžeme bez obav pasovat na nejúspěšnější hru roku 2025. Tahové příběhové RPG ovládlo další udělování cen. Z DICE Awars 2026 si počin francouzského studia Sandfall Interactive odnáší pět cen, včetně ceny za nejlepší hru roku.

RPG novinka uspěla také v kategoriích za výtvarné zpracování, příběh, herní režii a stala se i RPG roku. Porazila přitom silné konkurenty jako Ghost of Yōtei nebo Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.

Ghost of Yōtei si nakonec odneslo tři ceny – za nejlepší adventuru, původní hudbu a nejlepší herní postavu (Atsu). Death Stranding 2 bodovalo především po technické stránce, když získalo ocenění za audio design a technické zpracování.

Výrazně se prosadil i nezávislý titul Blue Prince, který triumfoval v kategoriích pro indie hru roku a herní design.

Součástí večera bylo i uvedení Evana Wellse, spoluzakladatele Naughty Do, do síně slávy AIAS. Ceremonie zároveň vzdala hold zesnulému Vinceovi Zampellovi, spoluzakladateli Respawn Entertainment a jednomu z tvůrců série Call of Duty, který loni tragicky zahynul při autonehodě.
