Britská filmová akademie odhalila nominované hry, které mají šanci získat ceny za letošní rok. V nejprestižnější kategorii soutěží 10 kousků, mezi nimiž nenajdeme Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. Právě nominace rozšíření na hru roku The Game Awards namíchla hráče.

Mluvčí BAFTA v rozhovoru pro britský Eurogamer vysvětlil, že v kategorii nejlepší hra jsou oceňovány zejména plné hry, které byly poprvé vydány v posledním roce.

V rámci BAFTA Awards 2024 tak může cenu nejlepší hry získat Animal Well, Astro Bot, Balatro, Black Myth: Wukong, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Helldivers 2, The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Thank Goodness You’re Here! a Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
